The Alpbachtal has plenty to offer, both on and off the slopes. You can choose from a wide range of pursuits on your winter holiday, including tobogganing, cross-country skiing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, torchlight walks and much more – there is something to suit everyone here.

Whizzing down the mountain on a toboggan is always great fun. With two varied toboggan runs to choose from – one at Bischoferalm in Alpbach (walking time: 1.5 hours; length: 3.6 km), which is floodlit, and another in Inneralpbach at the Faulbaumgartenalm (walking time: 1.5 hours; length: 3.6 km) – you can really have some fun. Once you reach the top, you can stop for a rest at one of the cosy huts and savour the pure mountain hut charm.

Cross-country skiing is the ideal winter workout. Whether you prefer the classic style or the dynamic skating technique, our valley offers excellent cross-country skiing trails in Greitergraben and Luegergraben in Inneralpbach, leading you through magical winter scenery.
